From Quant Ideas to Practical Understanding
I work in quantitative finance and started this site to write about topics I find interesting: mostly around how theoretical models are built and how they hold up in practice. When I read academic papers, I sometimes find it hard to see the intuition behind the formulas. But shorter articles often skip the technical details I want to see. I am trying to find a middle ground: keeping the rigor, but explaining the ideas behind it. Writing is also how I learn, and I hope some of it is useful to others.
What I Write About
Quantitative Finance Concepts
The math behind models: stochastic processes, derivatives pricing, and risk modelling.
I try to write the explanations I wish I had when I was learning these topics.
Practical Industry Insights
Lessons from working with quant systems in practice: the model choices, the edge
cases, and the things you only notice when theory meets reality.
*Articles are written with AI-assisted drafting and editing where helpful. All analysis, interpretations, and conclusions are my own.
